Bus inconvenience in K.S.R.T.C (Karnataka State).

My name is Ashlesh Mithur (student) resident of Puttur town,D.K district ,Mangalore. I climbed the bus in Mangalore (19th September 2015,evening 5:15PM) which had the destination notice board to Puttur. Conductor of the bus issued ticket to Kabaka(A stop on the way to Puttur) as per my request and I paid him the ticket amount. But on the way in the one of the Bus stop*(B.C Road) the conductor changed the destination notice board to Dharmastala without informing the passengers. I came to know these things by other passengers who climbed the bus in that stop. When I asked about the change of destination with conductor he asked me to get down and asked my ticket and kept it for himself and gave me a status report list of ticket from his ticket machine. Later when another bus which going to Puttur arrived to the stop he told the driver of that bus about the change in route of his bus and asked him to take me to his bus. I climbed to that bus and bus set off.

When conductor of that asked me the ticket I showed him the status report which I had but he dint accept that. A lot of discussion went on. He asked for the ticket, he told status report is not a ticket and cannot allow me to travel in his bus. He demanded me to buy a new ticket. I was forced to buy a new ticket as the old conductor kept the ticket for himself. I request you to investigate this matter and compensate my loss of money and inconvenience caused by the poor service of K.S.R.T.C.

I am Rajath Rao S. resident of dharmasthala. I booked my ticket on 17th of October for my journey on 21st October from Mysore to Dharmasthala. I got to know that KA-4989 was the bus I was supposed to travel. But then in Mysore bus stand we were told that the bus has been changed and made to climb another bus where there was no problem regarding my reserved seat.

Everything went good till Hassan. But in Hassan there were 4 passengers remaining in the bus, me and 3 of my friends. As all the 4 of us were students, the bus crew members took a full advantage of it. They said that as there were only 4 members they can't take us to the destination. We were forced to get down in Hassan and were shifted to another bus which was already full. There were no seats remaining for us. We were made to stand all night. We had to suffer a lot of physical and mental agony. There was no value for our reservation. Is this the way you treat your passengers? It was just disgusting. I am very disappointed.

volvo bus from mysore to thiruvanthapuram and return (mysore depo bus) travelling via gudullur, nilambur, perinthalmanna, thrissur, this bus is not coming to perinthalmanna bus station on either way, this makes inconvenience to passengers on eitherway, if u provide a stop here its mutual beneficial to passengers and to ur institution this place is potential for ac bus passengers. we kindly request to u make a necessary arrangements and the needful.

On 18.1.17, I travelled with my wife from Gokarn to Kumta, Kumta to Murdeshwar, Murdeshwar to Hubli in KSRTC buses. We, both are senior citizens, and on producing our Adhaar cards, bus conductors at Gokarn and Murdeshwar have noted it in their ticket machines, and allowed concession. Conductor at Kumta has refused to allow the concession, saying, our Adhaar cards does not have Karnataka address, and stated that concession can be extended to IDs with Karnataka residential address only. I request your good self to clarify the matter, as rule should be same at all places. I also made online reservation from KSRTC for Journey on 17.1.17 from Hubli to Gokarn, which also allowed concession. The details of my journey from Kumta to Murdeshwar is as under:
Kumta to Murdeshwar - Dharmasthala Ghataka - dt. 18.1.17 - No. 181185 - time 08.50.21 - Express-KA19-F3158, charge Rs55 * 2 = 110/-

I had booked the ticket on behalf of My Father in law.

This is completely unfair on your part for cancelling the service on the date of journey. He had an important meeting to be attended & he is held guilty for not making it. He had to travel to other place from Shivamogga again & I had also booked a room in the lodge for his 2 days stay. Now everything went in vain.

I need the complete refund of My ticket along with the lodge room rent Rs 2,000 I have paid.
If I do not get a response within 24 hrs, I am complaining to the consumer forum.

How easy it is for you to send an email stating about service cancellation on the day of journey, just before 4-5 hours of journey....?????

Dear sir,i thank you for started AC Sleeper Bus between Hyderabad and Bijapur. i am waiting form 3 years for this. but it is better to depart between 21 to 21:30 (9 to 9.30) and arrival 7 Am. it will be convenient for girls to travel. somany BLDE Medical college girl students are traveling between these cities. as a parents we feel it is safety timing. so i request you to take action and change the AC Sleeper departure and arrival timings. if you change i will thank full one again.

Sir, I traveled in Bus Ser No. 19/21 - F.1011 from Hyderabad to Bangalore on 22 Oct 2017 at 8 p.m (sunday night). The conductor demanded and taken more amount than KSRTC ticket fare. (otherwise may get down). I paid Rs 800/- against ticket fare of Rs 689/- given. on my query, he said others paid more than you. so I was silent and done journey. I believe that corruption has been one of the major obstacles for progress of KSRTC. You are requested to counsel the conductor and do the neeful please.

I have got a confirmation on the refund of return ticket due to cancellation of Bus , which was almost 40 days back, I am still waiting for my refund to my credit card account from which the payment was done. It is pathetic no one picks up the phone nor give confirmation regarding the refund.

I am the passenger booked ticket with PNR:J68058421, TRIP CODE: 2015BNGSMV, on 30/12/2017 from KBS Terminal 2cto Holenarasipura.

It was my worst experience that, the bus arrival time is 8:15PM on the same date(30/12/2017). There was no bus, no information to the TC also, he was keep on telling wait wait instead of making arrangements for us. Another bus was there went at 9:00 PM, We passengers of Holenarasipura requested many times to Control room and even TC too many many times. There was zero response from them. Atleast he would have arrange this bus which was going in the same route.

No arrangements made and we waited till 10 30 for that bus, TC told there was traffic jam and that conductor told bus breakdown. they themselves dont know the reason for delay. There was an emergency for me, so that only i reserved the seat, i lost so much of money and even my health gone wrong waiting at KSRTC Bus terminal 2. One more thing was, there was announcement at around 8:10PM that bus arriving from Kempegowda Bus terminal2, PF 15, with BUS number 2036. More than 5 times they announced the same, there was no bus, i was fedup searching the bus.

One more thing isif any bus getting delay, we have not received an email or message from any of KSRTC numbers, atleast if you have given the information about delay, i would have gone with alternate terms.
No info at all from any of KSRTC contacts, TC only dont know and he was keep on telling careless response to us. As ahuman being i can undrestand the traffic jam in blore in weekends. One hour late i can understand, But here 3 Hours delay, how could it happen, KSRTC DONT KNOW THE REASON FOR RESERVATIONS MEANING I THINK.

I lost so much of money because of you. I Want some refund with penalties to culprits. Being a big State Govt Dept, this type of response nobody of us expected. Please dont repeat this to any of Customers. Arrange for the refund soon.

As more number of people travel to Bengaluru on Sunday, this is a kind request to deploy more buses from T.Narsipura to Bengaluru (Malavalli route) during weekends. Also, there are lots of delayed pickups at T. Narsipura.

This complaints is raising from mudhol city bagalkot distict. There is a only one bus to hubli at night time. Me and my old age parents are waiting in bustand on 06/10/2018 For Bus from 10:30pm has been arrived around 11:35pm. But bus driver didnt stopped bus even he saw us. Actually this is only one bus and last bus to hubli, if its there At night also its very difficult to travel with old age parents. Next bus is there at 3:30 early morning.

This is indicate there is proper control over the system . Please inform the driver to response correctly with public.

However I am escalating the same issue with depot also, please check which fellow was there in driving seat and terminate him before something happen big. This is not a way to deal with public. I am not happy with .

Dear sir/madam,

I travelled from Satara to Sankeshwar in Bus of Hirekerur Depot, Bus No KA27F756 and my ticket No is 163508.

I travelled in bus at night time and bus reached at sankeshwar by pass at 0130hrs. Bus crew were stopped the bus on highway and dropped to me and three other persons including two ladies also. When i asked to conductor that why bus is not going to bus stop then bus driver and conductor were said to me that bus is not going to sankeshwar bus stop and not in rule and sankeshwar is too near from this place. But sankeshwar bus stop was 2.5 kilo meter from from highway where they dropped to me. We 04 passengers were reach to sankeshwar by walk at night. Please clarify the following points please:-

- If not in rule then why giving ticket upto sankeshwar.
- What security and safety of passengers especially ladies.
- Who take responsibility of passengers/ladies if they meet any incident during night.

Sir, once again request you that to take necessary action on crew and pass necessary instruction to crew.

Iam a resident of Belagavi city. On 20/02/2020 I travelled from bengaluru to Belagavi in Airavat multiaxle Volvo bus. I booked the ticket in club class and the fare was comparatively high. When the bus came at my pick up point I was amazed by seeing that the bus was different from the booked one. The seating was not good n uncomfortable. I need to know how the corporation changes the service class without asking the customer? While booking online it was indicated "SPL" In red colour and the bus had to reach Belagavi without any intermediate stoppages but the bus went to Hubli bus stand as well as Dharwad. When it's not feasible for you, why you mention that? We pay for comfort I you are misusing that. It's not at all acceptable. I need the refund.

I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Mangalore on 18 dec2020 time 20:42, Bus no :KA19 F3568. I was late by 10 minutes @ KBS, same informed to bus crew, but he not co-operated. Then I came to Yashwanthpur, I requested to picked up me but crew left me @ Yeshwantpur also. The crew behaved very harshly.

Sir,

I traveled in Bus No F 355 departing from Bengaluru at 22.31 hrs to Coimbatore on 24-12-2020. At 3.55 am on 25/12/2020, the bus stopped for relaxing. Along with others and crew, I also got down for relaxing. The bus took off leaving me and after calling the crew the bus stopped after traveling around 1 km. I was left on the high way where there is little space for walking and all the vehicles were traveling at a high speed, thus the crew put my my life in danger. Further all the street dogs started barking and you are aware in December, that the weather will be misty which has put my health at risk. I had to walk for around one KM in the odd hours for 15 minutes, with the risk in the highway, danger of dogs attacking and the weather.Though one of the crew (sri Kumar as informed by him) was concerned, the other crew -driver was harsh in responding. Hence for the mental agony caused I request you as follows:
a) Advise the concerned suitably and
b) Compensate suitably.

I used KSRTC service twice recently. Both time I observed lot of delay in reaching. I booked a ticket from BENGALURU to Panaji Goa for 21st evening. Bus started at 7.28 PM (1928BNGPNJ). Per the booking site, the bus should reach 7.00 in the morning and it reached at 8.30 AM 22nd morning. I don't know this is daily affair or a single day observation.

The next one is interesting. I travelled from Shivamogga to Bengaluru on 24th April (i do this regularly, in all types of service at different timing). The trip schedule was at 5.02 PM (1702SMGBNG) and bus started on dot. Per the Schedule the bus should reach Bengaluru bus station at 10.32 PM (This was expected as an ordinary red bus takes around 6 to 6.30 hours at this time). I was thinking that, I can catch a Metro ride, as I wanted to come to home at JP nagar. While, boarding I enquired reaching time and i got a response as 11.30 pm afterwards. Then I enquired again telling "your site says around 10.45PM". Response was straight and bold " wrong in site, though we asked to correct, they not done". Further, my question was, "what time Nagasandra metro". Answer was "11.10 pm" and "no chance you can go'.

Is this an adjustment between KSRTC and auto/cab Aggregators? A KSRTC red bus shall travel at this by 6 hours, giving two breaks (of around 15 minutes, each) why a Volvo bus can't with one 20 minutes can't reach within 6 hours? Why exactly 11.10 pm at Nagasnadra metro, why not 10.50 PM so that all passengers happy that they can ride on metro, specially like me who travel to JP Nagar. Can the there be some response? The Bus shall go further to Chennai and may start from Bengaluru at 12 night and the crew happy to reach at 11.30, rather early? Can the people travelling take Metro ride happily?.

I reached Majestic at 11.40 PM and paid INR 400.00 for an auto ride to reach home at 12.15 AM. If I would have got the drop per scheduled time on screen, I should have reached my home by 11.15 PM with INR 110, inclusive auto ride from Metro stop to house.

Concerned authorities please, look through this.

I am a regular passanger from chennai to KGF, we are working in chennai but native of KGF, There is a big gap in timing after 3:30 pm the next bus is at 11: 30 pm, we request if there is a bus in between by 6:30 or 7pm it will be more helpful for many of us kindly consider this request.
