Dear Sir/ Madam, I have sent a parcel just a birthday present for a baby in France from Chennai. The weight of the parcel is just below 200 grams and I was charged around 5100 as courier charges, which I find very much exponentially high for the thing. Moreover it was delivered today and they had to pay 33 euros, I never heard of paying both the end. pls clarify me. Regards Ramanujam.

Even I faced same issue. I sent one parcel which they open and made in to two parcels bcoz they want to levying processing charges... Bloody f**king fraud.

DHL said that I have to pay tax charges 7,534 rupees which I had paid shipment charges to my company. so, I am requesting you sir or madam I can't pay this charges because I am belongs to poor family, please sir requesting you to leave my parcel to hyderabad, I am waiting. In DHL India no one is responsible to take care of customer. Inexperienced, irresponsible lack of knowledge staff don't have priorities. DO NOT USE DHL, worst courier company.

DHL AWB NO.5413247103 Booked on 21/12/2017 from Italy. Still it has not delivered and held in Bangalore and chennai customs. We want this shipment very urgently and is to be cleared by today and delivered by today. please arrange the same.

AWB: 9891518722 my parcel booked from Hong Kong to Chennai. Once booking information shared on DHL site he picking up my parcel after 1week. After pickup my parcel reach to Bangalore-india via singapore just one day. i was very happy next go to the custom clearance worth of my product $100 Rs-6490 but custom charged me Rs-3237.47 + DHL handling fee Rs-500 i think this is unnecessary. I was charged more than 60% of my goods value. NOTE: this shipping booked to Hong Kong to Chennai. After custom clearance parcel unnecessary send to Cochin, coimbatore and again to Bangalore they delay my before delivery.

DHL notified my delivery date is 1st Jan 2018. I speak to the customer care 30.12.2017 after they send wrong location my parcel is urgent please arrange special delivery (because next day Sunday and 1st Jan DHL Holiday) she wait me 1 hour I'll arrange special delivery it'll cost Rs-2700. I said ok please confirm me but I'm not receive any calls from DHL. Again i call to dhl one guy clearly told ur parcel not possible delivered today 2nd Jan only possible I'm totally upset so stay calm. After lots of struggling my parcel delivered to 3rd Jan 2018 Afternoon... this is my DHL Experience. Please Check my Tracking Details : 9891518722

Please look into same as courier was not attempted for delivery and updated wrong detail as attempted but Recipient was not at home while this item is to be delivered at my office's address and office remain open for 24*7 also guards are there to receive couriers. Worst experience with this company. i sent courier from Canada on monday and it takes two days to arrive parcel at New Delhi, India. But now from past 6 days it is showing clearance event at Delhi and parcel is not proceeding further. Service is very cheap and slow in Delhi. please don't trust them. Its cheap service.

DHL's services are hitting new lows everyday (from bad to worst). For the past 12 days our consignment is pending customs clearance and there is no one to follow up or prioritize the shipment. We are continuously in touch with their executives but of no use. I have no word to express my anguish. Its a waste of our valuable time doing business with DHL.

DHL service Very Bad, HWB Number: 6989457495. In this shipment clearly mention Bill to :A , & Ship to B, but during DHL India couldn't do this. They put Both Address to B, Now Our Payment is hold. No one helping in this matter .

Compensation refused by Shruti Killeder of DHL India Mumbai!!!

Above mentioned shipment was sent from dhl New York on 25/1/2019. It was received by DHL India Mumbai on 28/1/2019.

They asked me to send some custom related docs to sign n send without estimated value of customs duty. When asked for clarifications there was delay of 20 days to communicate the aprox value from Rohit Mishra of DHL Mumbai, due to the delay food items have gone bad and not possible for receiver to receive

on the basis of delay and damaged parcel i demand full compensation of the shipment value which was usd 100 to be paid to the sender who is my son in New York USA. If not in USA dhl can send me the compensation in India to me.

This mail to inform you about my above-mentioned shipment, from HongKong to Pune, Maharashtra. As per your website this shipment arrived in India on 20/2/2019 when first customs entry was made at 05.55 hours. It is now more than 48 hours since arrival of shipment. The last entry on your website at 19.41 yesterday mentions that the shipment is “Processed at Delhi”. After that there is NO update for the last 18 hours!!!

When I rang up DHL customer support 3 hours back, I was told that the consignment is waiting at Delhi airport. I have waited for this change to be reflected on the website. This change is not reflected on the website yet at the time of writing this email. I have again called customercare who gives the same response.. the consignment is at airport. Neither have we received any email or SMS on this matter, for which we have signed up, since this was an urgent consignment. We chose DHL and paid more, over other more economical courier services, since we assumed we could trust DHL to give us regular updates and try to clear this Express consignment at a faster pace. At the time of writing this email, the website still shows expected delivery by End of Day today!! This when we have not yet received any intimation regarding duty to be cleared and our office is closed tomorrow. We have followed up regularly to ensure that we pay any dues on time, so there is no delay from our end to clear this consignment.

We expected better professionalism from a company of the stature of DHL!! The updates given are misleading. They just talk about Customs Status updated and Clearance process completed!! Shouldn’t you give a more detailed description like first stage of customs clearance done/second stage done/gate pass received – something on these lines so that any lay person is able to understand the precise meaning of your update!!??

Kindly look into this matter ASAP and update me on the status of this consignment and when it is likely to reach us in Pune. We have to make arrangements to ensure the duty is paid and someone is there to receive the parcel in office tomorrow, since it seems unlikely that the parcel will reach us within office hours today.

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with this experience with DHL, an internationally renowned organization that touts its professionalism and punctuality.

DHL should make some changes to your processes so that customers can at the least get periodic updates at 4 hour intervals of the status of their consignment and the language used for the update is more user-friendly and easily understood by lay persons too.

Hi,

My shipment (waybill: 5561693141) was scheduled to be delivered to me today (09-04-2019) and i was intimated by customer care executive yesterday that the custom duty payment can be made by cheque, so i was ready with cheque, But delivery boy just blatantly refused to take cheque and asked for online payment. I agreed and tried online payment that failed due to some server error from DHL payment gateway. Now, he very rudely said either give cash or i am leaving as if it's my problem that online payment is also not working, i was obviously not having cash at that moment so i asked him to wait till get it from ATM, but he refused that too saying he has to go and he just left.

This was very bad experience and i literally didn't expect something like this from a brand like DHL, Delivery boy was very very rude, not sure why. I want to file a complaint against him and hope a strict action will be taken against him, his name is Arun (contact: +91 9886893047).

Also, Please let me know when and how can i get my courier. I still see the server down error at online payment gateway.

Lost my shipment sent from India to new jersey. It contains almost 35k worth items it’s been 2 months and still didn’t receive the shipment but dhl says they have delivered the shipment and says the shipment is lost and I have contacted Customer service many hundreds of times regarding this but till date couldn’t file a claim atleast. Worst courier service ever.

I booked a shipment of 13 big boxes (250kgs) on August 5, 2019 (DHL Dehradun), and was assured of express delivery with a week. It reaches in Kyoto my destination nearly in a month and sent back by DHL Japan, saying that it contains some 'plant protection products". I asked DHL Dehradun and Delhi office to please clarify what items come under plant protection products and after removing them send once back to me.

DHL Delhi didn't care to ask and sent back the shipment, which took another three weeks to reach Kyoto. DHL Japan again sent back my shipment stating the same reason that it contains plant protection products. Today is November 25, 2019, and I am still waiting for my shipment.

I complain a couple of times to their head office, customer care head, but I didn't get any satisfactory answer. Last time I asked a couple of questions, and they hardly care to answer me about those questions regarding my shipment.

IT IS A USELESS SERVICE WITH NO TRUTH IN THEIR CLAIMS, AND I RECOMMEND NO ONE TAKING THIS SERVICE FROM DHL.

DHL INDIA IS A SHAME ON THE WORLDWIDE RESPECTED BRAND LIKE DHL.

DHL Delhi the most impossible service no one know what to do to solve the problem. They don’t know how to deal with customer, i is really impossible. No professional at all disgusting and expensive

Few days back I went to DHL courier service in kaloor (kerala) for sending a few medicines and some other items to germany. There i met one of your staff named Mr. Vineeth, he told me that for 4 kgs around 16k will come.I said okay. Later he told me that he cannot send this much of medicines as the doctors prescription is attached with all the medicines. His behaviour was not at all satisfactory for me. Because he does not like anyone coming to this office for courier service . If he cannot send the above things he could have told me in a good way. So i was very much disappointed and then I went to another courier office where I receive friendly nature from their staff and they have send my things without asking much at a low cost which is around 12k. But I don’t know why such a reputed firm like DHL treating the customers like this. I hope I will not happen in future.

I purchased a product Raspberry pi from a USA website for my personal use which cost me approx 7500 inr + dhl delivery charges. Now when product landed here in India dhl message me that I have to pay custom duty of 7200 inr custom duty and taxes, but when you check Indian laws you will see that taxes on these products is no more than 18%. The amount they asking me to pay is even higher than the actual product price in India. And also they acted on behalf of me without my permission, they should have asked me if I want to pay duty or not, but instead they paid the amount on my behalf and now forcing me to pay.
I want to file a complaint legally with police and take this company down.

I have never seen such a irresponsible service. The pin code is wrongly updated by origin DHL team because of which we have received the courier yet. I have been trying since monday to get proper update but no use of this. The courier contains the container shipments documents, we need them to clear the container from customs. without these we will not be able to clear. The container is worth about 45lks plants and when speaking all these with customer care , they are least bothered about our problem.

This is in reference to our business dealings for the year 2020-21 with DHL, we would like to inform that we have paid GST to DHL on our various shipments, details of which are mentioned in trailing mail. On checking our GSTR 2A on GST portal, we noticed that mentioned details are not reflecting in GSTR 2A, due to which we will not be able to take credit in GST and it will be a total loss to our company.

We have sent numerous communications/reminders to your Delhi office but till date we haven’t received any fruitful response from your company.

Now, as the last date is very near and we have no other option except to pay GST to the govt and recover the same from you through debit note.

We hope you will understand the necessity of the situation and will definitely help us in getting the above GST input.

My package was returned back from sweden to india as the package had zandhu balm. package returned on the 10th Jan and it reached India on the 17th. the DHL website only says awaiting document but there is no clear information or call on what document is needed for a return document. I wrote emails to Info.India @dhl.com, Maa.Csa2 @dhl.com, customercare.India @dhl.com no one aware of what document is needed. Now the only option left is to reach John Pearson, CEO DHL Worldwide Express hope he has an answer to it.

We have booked consignment from Malaysia weighing around 65Kgs and the AWB No. 4057917021, we were asked to pay Rs.48245.00 through payment link and the amount was paid, infact we have A/c with DHL since decades for both Export and Import and our business with DHL has drastically reduced because of poor service and no response for any mail and as such we are a corporate company and they are least bothered. Even after making the payment they keep on sending reminders for payment dues. Even after making the payment of Rs. 48245.00, they sent us the invoice for Rs. 44914.98 and they are not ready to refund the balance amount or give explanation for difference amount. If this continues and they don't change their attitude I'm sorry this company is going to lose all the reputed customers.

Worst experience with this company. pkt sent courier from H.K to India dated 14th Nov Delivery dated on 17thNov and we chase so many times with Customer care dept. they don't have any answer & they waste precious time of the client & stereo type answer not giving proper response even DHL people never come back for the solution it. Service is very cheap and slow in Delhi. please don't trust them. Its cheap service.
