Bad experience with Star health insurance
Very bad experience with Star health insurance, they never respond when you need them the most. Neither the insurance agent or customer service can be reached for our claim. never buy from them.
Facing similar issue with star health

Doctors give false information to customers
Star health doctors give false information to customers for the benefit of company. company employees Ms Roma Kumari and Ms arnica are very rude and play fraud with customers.

Under Sr.citizen Red Carpet scheme I have made health insurance coverage scheme on 03.09.2015. But still now I have not yet received any documents from you. Kindly expedite.
Issue of medical insurance
Issue of policy no P/700002/01/2016/025006. While thanking you for issuing medical insurance coverage certificate for us I like to draw your attention on the following. In address column I find some mistakes which may be corrected; City Center should be" City Centre"; dhurgapur should be" durgapur";and burdooaan should be" bardhaman"

Refund of the amount paid with the proposal
In connection with the Senior Citizen Health Insurance Policy proposed by me for Rs.4,00,000(Proposal No.25402), I had duly issued a cheque bearing No.622256 dated 16/09/15, drawn on Axis Bank, Ramapuram Branch, Chennai-600 089 in a sum of Rs. 14,706 and the same was credited to you on 23/09/15.. Subsequent to the above, having elicited no reply from you on the same i had contacted your office on 03/10/15 and 06/10/15. On 06/10/15, I was informed that my proposal has been rejected by your co. doctor. Upon my further query, I was told that the money paid by me as above, would be refunded within a weeks" time. Regret to inform you that it has not been refunded sofar. Appreciate the fact that once the proposal has been rejected, you have no reason to hold my money. I therefore request you to refund the money forthwith without any further delay.

Issue the policy or return my money
I have taken a senior citizen medical insurance through STAR Health insurance. The insurance is for Mrs.M.Dhamayanthi. This was done through Ms.Karthika (Mob # 8124491177 / 044 28170767).
The cheque for Rs. 14706/ was issued and got realized on 23rd Oct 2015 from the HDFC Bank account. Till date I have not got any communication from your side on the status of the policy.
Even after repeated calls to Karthika I have not got any policy papers. Before issuing the cheque she called me frequently and kept on talking about the benefits of the policy. After getting the cheque I dont know the status of the policy and she does not even attend my calls to her mobile phone.
PLEASE ISSUE THE POLICY OR RETURN MY MONEY.
Should I take this through any other escalating process. Let me know. If you cant even give me a policy copy, how are you going to service the policy? Please let me know if I have to take this with some other higher officials in this regard.

Feeling sorry to get associated with your company
Talk to your customer care rep and senior manager and expressed my problems in detail. Your people are least bothered in coming back with answers. I am feeling very sorry getting associated with your company for the last 5 years. I paid my premium year after year for the last 5 years and never claimed single penny in return and this is the treatment which I got in return. My address not changed for the last 5 years. I have not got any reminder for the renewal of policy. My mail id was not changed no reminder even on mail.
I think you might have done deliberately to avoid old customers who are more than 5 years old so that you can avoid payments since age is catching up. Despite my personal call 3 days before regarding the same no one bothered to call me back. What a great company and support form the insurance which is emergency support if required. Great company keep it up.

Till the date not receiced any policy document
I have taken Medical Insurance through Star Health Insurane for Mr. Dinesh Kumar. This is done by Mr.Suboot, M-8527400972.
The cheque for Rs.6241/- issued & got realised on 6/3/2016 from syndicate bank account. And I also give him cash Rs.380/- for accidental insurance's benefit is doubled. But till date I have not got any communication from your side on the status of policy. Before using the cheque he called me frequently and talking about the benefits of policy.
Insurance claim was unfairly rejected
I K.Srinivasrao refer to that the policy which i have been paid since two years was cancelled due to [PED], As the disease was acknowledged to us by doctors of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology in the year of 2/05/2016, Due to lack of proper communication and misunderstanding It was mentioned that the disease was since 2009 in summary which is not true. Patient is my daughter K.SAI RISHIKA, policy number is P/131118/01/2016/001509. Her name was deleted from the policy during renewal period. Actually my daughter suffering from stomach pain from 2009 and every alternate year no doctor could diagnose the reason. we were informed as gastric trouble or acidity, but proper reason was investigated in AIG in 20016 as acute on chronic pancreatis,s o how far is it fair to cancelled and reject the policy during renewal period. This is my sincere request look forward and sort out the issue.

I have gone through it & found that you r seems to be observing through your consultation notes Dt:21/04/2016 about the insured patient '"Muscular dystrophy".
Where putting to your kind notice that we have claim reimbursement of hospitalisation expenses for treatment of fracture left ankle. Not for the treatment of muscular dystrophy. Therefore there is no sense of question to be put up in concern of disclosed or disclosed about the medical history of insured-patient.
Hope for necessary action to settle claim taking no more time. Otherwise we are compel to go to legal action.

Myself Navin Bangera holding your Stars Health policy I'D NO 3803264-2. The problem with policy is that when I was looking for a policy 3 years back Mr. Sanjay R Patil contact no 9821054653 came running to my door step. I brought the policy for my family but when I wanted to pay renewal last year I called him to take the cheque which he promised to take it by himself every year. So last year when I called him he couldn't come he gave me various reasons as he stays near to my place. So I had pay online by myself. Again this year when I'm calling him he is giving me bunch of excuses which is not good as a customer. I know that if I pay online he will get his commission what is the use of giving him benefit without helping me. I can't rely on him as if he is not ready to help me with just a cheque which im paying to the compnay what should i expect from him in real emergency situation or any claim. If I can do it alone why shud I give him my commission to him. More of that why is Star health insurance keeping a agent like this who can't help their customers. Please look into this issue.

Credit received from star health without any claim
Star health an-ba0000284516- dated 20.1.2017, i received an amount of rs.5394 in hdfc a/c from star health insurance. Also sms alert received in my mobile 9841989948.message reads clr balance rs.17,769 subject to clearing. Pls note i have made no claim for above amount. Pls call / mail me and clarify.

Missguided by your agent/sales manager from mira road branch
Policy no P/171120/01/2016/014718 OF ruksha p shah she had a gynological problem was misguided by agent mr laxman singh & sales manager karuna choudhary of miraroad branch code no 171120 that she will get reimbursement/or cash less claim if she get admitted in hospital knowing that her policy had not completed one year, as her husband is suffering heart problem. Thus they created a bad impression for star health insurance company in the mind of policy holder & family. you are requested to please take strick action against this type of staff.

My insurance claim was rejected
My experience with star health insurance has been very bad. I have been cheated, my claim was rejected. If something happens to my wife the company would be responsible. My claim was rejected at the last moment thats why i am unable to get proper treatment to my ailing wife.
Premium paid by my client Sri. A savarimuthu - returned
I have obtained Agent code in my son Sri.S.Karthikeyans name through Sri Rangam branch when one Krishnakmar was sales Manager at the branch. As per the instruction of Sri.Mahendran, I followed number of policies in short period and won the competition. I collected premium around 3 lakhs in 4 to 5 months. When the question of claim arised. sri Krishnakumar and Mahendran were kept silence. The claim around Rs.8000/- in my wife name Uma not at all followed up and even the original bills were not handed over to the office by krishnakumar and he left service without giving the claim form.
The total episode was clearly explained to Sri.Mahendran he said he will take care and arrange for the claim. The claim given by one of my client C.Palanisamy was delayed like any thing and half of the claim was settled. The claim in favour of Seshasayee was totally denied stating that while taking policy we have not informed them the nature of diseases. While taking the policy Sri.Krishnakumar has seen the aged Seshasayee and enquired about his health and all details and taken the premium, when the question of claim comes, they easily escape that we have not informed the nature of diseases. The age will reflect in the policy are not? Similarly Seshashaees aged wife Smt.Girijas claim also denied on the same grounds. Seeing all theses claim results, I am forced to change the Srirangam branch to Cuddalore Branch. since, this branch is very near to me also to my clients.
I had renewed sri.A.Savarimuthu policy first year taken at srirangam branch, this year renewal has been made to Cuddalore Branch. The Branch manager Sri.Mahendran has to give his noc to the cuddalore branch to renew this policy. in spite of my personal requests, parties personal telephone calls, repeated mails, he has not forwarded his no objected certificates to cuddalore branch. After two months, the amount of A Savarimuthu was returned to me Vide your DD no.930242 dated 31.03.2017 drawn on HDFC Bank was handed over to me by Sri.Balamurugan sales officer of cuddalore on 25.05.2017 stating his in ability not able to renew the policy of sri A Savarimuthu. Why so much of delay.
Where is the delay occured and whether this is deliberately and wantonly. What is the reason I shall explain to my client. If any thing would have been happened to my client within this period who will be responsible for the same. Please advice the course of action I have to take to avoid such delays in future.
