l purchased Carrier Split AC 1.5 18K Duractive 3 model along with Gold Bird Stablizer 170 4KVA on 31 March 2018 from Neha electronics 1, A K Plaza, Jagat Farm Gr. Noida (UP). Since then no cooling issue has been a constant irritant from time to time for which I complained to customer care and technician was duly sent every time. But after the technician visit, it works for some time and goes back to square A'.

After reading the complaints above, I realize that the product itself is defaulty. I would request the company, Carrier, to replace the product with immediate effect, else I would have to approach Consumer Redressal Forum.

Dear Carrier Team,

After my 4th complaint i am writing my 5th complaint that my AC water leakage problem is still there. Kindly let me know how many times i have to write. The person came to check my AC this time he did something as usual they do every time.

When i asked him that if you are not able to rectify the problem why don't you give honest feedback to company then his reply was quite surprising.

He said if we will say we are not able to rectify the problem Carrier company will void our contract so in any condition can't say for replacement whether the customer suffer one time or thousand times.

Just because of this i had a damage of Sofa set costing INR 20000/-

Kindly let me know who is going to bear the charges of Sofa set, the company or these contract people. I am tired and only left with a option to file a case against Carrier Company.

Dear team,

I am tired of calling customer care people. I called up 4th times and asked them to connect to senior management as I am facing water leakage issue with my split ac. Since I have purchased it this problem is there. Somebody called me and said today is holiday so no one from management team is there in office.
When I called up first time your technician came and he said just need to clean the filter and it will be fine and told us that you need to clean filters after every 20th day which I have never seen before anywhere.
Again the problem was there and they sent senior technician to fix it this time. He also did something but after that also problem was there.
Third time again they sent senior technician even after that problm is still same.
For forth time i have already told you.
I can't bear it anymore, kindly replace my account or return my money.
Otherwise I will be forced to file a case against your company.
I don't want any call send me all the replies through email only.
Senior technician which you have sent he is the only one here in my city and he doesn't know anything or knowingly he is not giving right feedback.
As customer care people told me only with his feedback you can replace it otherwise you will not.
Hope problem will be sort out wisely. I am sending you the details of calls which I did to customer care.
I bought it on 3rd June 2019 and problem start just next day.

Only after working for 2 months it started creating problem, it shut downs by itself without any command and then restarts. i already informed the service centre 15 to 20 days ago tb they didn't responded.

I have purchased Split AC in the March 2019 from SG Distributors, Samrat Palace, Meerut (UP). Service personnel has installed very quickly but they have not taped the insulated pipe of outdoor unit. Now the copper pipe is open. Please do the needful at the earliest possible as the guarantee period will be expired in near future and the pipes are in open. Last year i have purchase ac 1.5 ton split. After one month gas problem service engineer came and solve after few days plm again. In winter season company engineer came again those day am not in home he's came and click aw serial no and gone. Yesterday am start ac again 17 april 2020 but ac gas leakage again. Therefor when company engineer come not any proper solution. Just come completed formality and gone.... Bad service.

Plz solve my problem bcz in my home 2 patient suffers cancer but company's fault don't gave customer proper service and pipe quality too much poor.

I said our address & Phone number. but he asked which shop you have been bought and which year and which time and he asked our MD Details also. this is not fair. we need only service. our address phone are having. why should not book our complaints. no satisfied to book the complaint to your service center.

It seems that Carrier Midea and their team are not least interested in providing service. I have paid for an extended warranty and for the last 1 year they have not updated this information in their system. Every time when I call them they give an excuse that it is stuck in approvals and neither their escalation team, Customer care are bothered to call and check back. Worst service and taking money and trust of the customer.

My 1.5 ton split Ac suddenly stopped working on 16 aug 2021. Though the service centre personnel attended my call and sent the service person by next day. The problem diagnosis was some part was to be replaced. Which was fine the other day. Each day they would say some or the other part need to be replaced. My Ac is still not working. It is more than 10 days and we are without Ac in such a hot n humid it temperature. Now the official do not respond. Pathetic Ac and pathetic service. Shame on carrier.

I have never regretted buying an AC so much as I am now because of the post sales worst service ..I had bought 4 carrier Ac to furnish my flat but never realized that carrier does not have a proper infrastructure for post sales as they have given the post sales to untrained pathetic third party subcontractors who provide sub standard repairs ,do not pick phones and do not give timely service inspired of exorbitant charges for parts, visits and In spite of giving 6 months warranty post part replacement very conveniently forget to follow up if the part is not working properly...I will take this matter to consumer court as I feel cheated and even when the carrier helpline says they will look into the matter they still do nothing... what a sheer waste of time money and effort.

I have all the repair papers and warranty in writing and transaction nos from call centre but 2 weeks have passed but still no relief from AC problem.

Sir, My carrier was purchased in July 2021. Due to my relocation to a new place I am trying to contact your service provider since last one week to get my ac reinstalled. But I am really disappointed as I am still waiting for it to get it reinstalled. Being in warranty period I am bound to get it installed by the authorised person.

I am badly regretting buying it from such a company with so poor service.

Poor service and it is sad to say that the product wont last for 6 years also which am quoting is about the window A/c. Service technician doesnt know what is the fault and they replace some product as per the wish and not even responding.

My ac not working in sept. 2020. My ac under AMC but my complaint not solved till 21 april 2021.

Over 1 month my problem didn't solve from service centre. plzzz do not purchase these type of company problem.

I purchased carrier 1.5 split air conditioner 1 year ago. And in this week my ac is not cooling so i call in the company and the technician came he fill the gas and next day ac outdoor making noise while in working so i call the service center once again technician came he said there is gas leakage he repair but ac is not working even after being repaired and today another technician came and while checking pressure our indoor ac coil blast and the supervisor talking rudely and doesn't pay for new coil however i every pay them their fees and the technicians are not professional at all.

Carrier window ac purchased. A very horrible product, substandard cooling. Resulting in very little cooling. Complained 4 times no body is taking care. They sent the engineer with poor knowledge. Asked me to change the stabilizer and giving issue of environment.

Purchased another account for a different room of same size of LG. Under same circumstances it's working wonderful. Please look into it immediately and send a knowledge able engineer.

We are fully unsatisfied with your product. I registered the complainant again and again and till now we are not getting any response which is expected from your company. If this will be your response replace it or returned my money.

I need immediate response and appropriate solution from your side else i will take this issue to all the possible level till the time i get satisfactory answer. If your company is a reputed one you should match the level. Your workers were not able to service it and within 2 months your product is not working. You should replace it.

I hv purchased an AC on 26/02/2022 and only 1 free service is provided to us.
We are seeking for other services and the company is denying to provide us the same by saying that it is out of warranty period now....in fact today it's 26/02/2023.... It is exactly 1 year. Their waranty period should expire from tomorrow not today.

Kindly consider my request and take necessary action for the same.

We purchased three split AC units of which one is 2ton in hall of residencial flat at Thane. We were not using AC since two years, during pandemic period. The outdoor AC unit is rusted due to rain. In view of the same I contacted helpline on 26/2 they gave me local service vendor B-Cool Enterprises Thane contact number for work stated above. So I contacted them then mechanic visited site on 28/2. One unit the got serviced n cleaned. Another outdoor unit they say it's wiring is cut need to replace n repair. As I saw they could not carry repair n informed me to disconnect n then repair. For which expenses of Rs.3750 to pay. I refused as no any break up of this expenses. Not given any reply I was unable allow work as reasonable expenses. Third outdoor unit not even touched.

For your information they charged me Rs.600 as servicing charges for one unit n water cleaning Rs.500 for two units. Total charges Rs.1100 collected from me. If they are not able to get work done, why to trying to do it. The vendor calling mechanic every 15 minutes from his office n threatened him.

In short what type of service company like Carrier is listed vendors on panels like this one. I would have sent bill of vendor but not attachment link here hence unable.

I purchased AC on 19th march. After that 2 services are free but when i called in September for ac service, one person called and said to come for service , i called many times on that number but again same thing i am coming and no one came.. after that this year 5th march i again requested for ac service but no one came and message received customer out of station so complaint cancelled but no one called me regarding service i complaint about 3 times since 5th march and now 19th march is coming after that they will say that it is chargeable. This is total harassment and very disappointing. No one listen to this.

Hello Carrier Team, I have purchased 5 star carrier Indus Split AC 1.5 ton on 15-Mar from KBM Electronics Shahdara, Delhi, and Installation got completed on 20-Mar since then there is heavy sound coming from day one.

Issue One - Heavy sound coming from Indoor Unit.
Issue Two - No bill/ invoice shared post installation.

I have made several complaints and there are 4 visits have been by Satish/ Afaque / Amjad/ Arif but there is no solution yet provided from Carrier or from KBM.

I am very disappointed with the service they provided. I request high management to take action on my request asap and provide me a solution immediately. Thank you

my customer relationship ID 91994864 . I have been waiting for your service for the past 11 days. I don't understand why a reputed company like Carrier is so bad at service. Now I regret buying the ac from the carrier. Every day I was following up with the carrier customer relationship person And he replies saying that the technician will contact me in half an hour. This has been going on for the last 10 days. I want to know will I ever get service from the carrier company? If you are unable to provide the service Please let me know ,I would like to escalate this to the higher authorities in your company and others in the government and consumer protection authorities.

I have a 1.5 carrier split Ac which is not working because of cat bite destroyed the motherboard. Dear Sir/ Madam
I have one inverter type AC 2 TR capacity. I had lodged a complaint vide ref message dt 20.05.2023 - (Thank you for calling CARRIER Customer Care. Your Transaction no. is : 138561703. For any further assistance please contact us on 18001033333. Carrier Midea). The service technician visited and found out some issues with the sensors. The service agency had no spare sensors with them, so they ordered through the state spare parts center at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. But till date the spare sensors are not made available to the service center. When I contacted with the Raipur center, they told me initially that the spares are on the way, I repeatedly enquired after seven to eight days, then one day (before some 4 to 5 days) I was told that material is received and they will despatch the same at the earliest. Again I enquired with the local service center about the same. They did not respond for 2 to 3 days. Then they told that they are yet to receive the materials. Then I again enquired with the Raipur center, then they told that there is some billing issue with the service center. And till date the spares have not been despatched by them. Today when I enquired again, they told that today or tomorrow the materials will be despatched. You can just imagine how much frustrating situation is this for a customer during this mid summer with 45 to 46 deg c. This is making me compelled to speak out my bad experience with my colleagues who are planning to purchase ACs. People deployed by Carrier are not sensible to the customers for after-sales service. It may be noted that last year also I had the same issue with my AC and 2 sensors were replaced. I wonder, why the spares supplied by a reputed manufacturer can fail so frequently. Please look into this matter and try to resolve the issues. If you need, I can share the photo snap of the service report of last year having all the job details with spares.
