The man who came to jump start my drained battery, replaced it with a further weak battery with a assurance of phoning me of my condition of my under guarantee battery. He not only take away my new battery but left me with a drained battery, I could not go out because of it.

Dear Sir,

I have registered a complaint, for a battery in warranty period, the copy of invoice, along with warranty card was submitted to M / s Bharti Trade Mart, Main road, Hinoo, RANCHI - 2, on 25-01-17, the details as attached. No further development of the complaint is provided, nor any replacement for battery done.
Please seriously look into the matter.

Dear Sir, I am at Anand-388001, Gujarat State,

I purchased Exide battery for my Skoda Fabia ( Petrol ) vide Bill no. 1828 dated 24-6-2014 paying Rs. 4500/- in Cash. The Battery is Noted in the bill as Max Din - 44. I was assured by the retailer M/s Saini Car World, 5,6 Muni. Shopping Centre, Anand- Lambhvel Road, Anand - 388001that the warranty is 24 + 24 months. The Warranty Booklet was also given to me.

Today, on 27-4-2017 when My car battery did not work , I took my car to the retailer. His person attended my car and confirmed that the battery is no more good in working condition. I brought the original bill and warranty booklet and showed him, on which he denied to replace the battery and told me to buy a new one.

I being a customer of Exide for last so many years for almost all the cars I owned, was shocked to get this response. I request you to look in the the matter and do the needful.

I purchased a battery A1D5B214705 model no MI 35L for my spark LT on 30/8/2015.It is within its replacement warranty period that is within 24 months.My could not star yesterday and Exide road side assistant told me that the problem is within the battery otherwise car is ok and the cells are dry.But they refuse to replace it?

My simple question to you when already it has proven that the fault is within the battery then why the company is not accept to replace the battery?and continuously harrasing me. The company is deliberately wasting the replacement warranty period. Should I go to the consumer forum.

Greetings for the day!

I had purchased Exide Mileage Battery FM18-MIDIN65(LH) having Sr. No.A5C6B002606 5C61 for my Maruti Dzire ZDI personal car on dated 12.06.2016 from Dealer M/s Park Motors, 1-A, Arjun Nagar, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi -110029.

In past I always used Exide Batteries in all my vehicles and recommended to all my near & dear one. But since last 4days I am facing lot of problem of my Maruti Dzire ZDI car is not starting and I am unable to go to Bank on daily basis.

I have informed the above mentioned dealer to replace my battery with new fresh OK similar model battery but he is not coming to send the person at below mention address and dealer is saying on daily reminders and follow-ups that my engineer is not available and will attend the problem after his availability. This Mileage Battery is maintenance free battery and free of cost replacement is 24 months mentioned in warranty card.

Now only just 15 months has been passed and I am facing problems in exiting battery. Also today I register the complaint on customer care and she also ensure for immediate action. Complaint number given is NDLA00009164V127. I sincerely request you to take immediate action against this issue and provide me fresh defect free same type of battery so enable me to go to do bank job on daily basis. I am attaching the invoice copy and warranty card copy for immediate attention and action.

I had purchased a battery R 55 for my car Tata zest on 22 June 2017 from the dealer A K BATTERY, GAZIPUR (EAST DELHI). BATTERY is dead as inspected by the company engineer. When I called up the dealer to replace the said battery, he refused to change it. He will charge for it, if he comes to change the battery.

It's a very bad experience with this dealer, since the battery is under warranty & has to be replaced free of cost. I highly condemn the gesture by this dealer, the person over the phone used abusive language also.

Dear sir, I have registered a complaint 3 to 4 time for battery warranty period. Engineer has come he told battery not charging and company van come to pickup your battery for service station tomorrow but van not come lasts four weeks. Please seriously look into the matters. Solve my problem as early as possible. Thanks you.

Exide sells third class batteries. I have got a new battery form my bike last year but within a year it stopped charging.

I have purchased an exide car battery from your authorised dealer M/S poothokkaran agencies thrissur before 11 months for my swift dezire car. Last Saturday 14-4-2018 battery shown complaint when I was in long journey, then checked the vehicle at a maruti authorised service centre (indus motors thodupuzha) and they reported that battery cell may be damaged and suggested to inspect the battery . so I visited your muvattupuzha authorised dealer M/S kerala automobiles, thodupuzha road, Muvattupuzha. After the checking the technician said contact of the battery is dameged and he reported the same to their office.

But the owner demanded me Rs1000/- as service charge for the replacement and also said receiving the amount is illegal so i will not get any reciept for the same. secondly they purchased the stock against cash from exide company and they will get no financial benifit by replacing the battery. And they said that if I go for complaint against him he will answer to the company that the particular suitable battery was no stock at that day or the vehicle battery has no complaint reported by the technician.

This incident very shame for such a reputed company .

Now today(16-4-2018) the battery is given to poothokkaran agencies thrissur for the further proceedings. A favourable replay is expected.

I had purchased battery for my two wheeler for my Mrs. (battery. No.M2E6Q905801) on 28.6.2016 from M/s. Gayathri Auto, BG road, Bangalore 560 076. (Receipt no. 903 dated 28.6.2016).

On 31.5.2018, I complained for defect in the said battery ie., within 24 months, for replacement by a new battery as per the Warranty claim form given to me along with receipt.

But After speaking to some Exide representative, on 31.5.2018 the dealer gave endorsement that he (dealer) could not exchange for a new battery with any discount also for the reason that the said warranty card did not apply to two wheeler battery. But I informed to him that It is provided for free replacement in the Warranty claim form, for sealed free battery for two wheeler. If not free replacement, at least as a last resort, he could extend discount as per the warranty details upto 40% on new battery. But I purchased by the same dealer a new one (bill no.4347 dated 1.6.2018 paid Rs. 1200/-). Hence it is arrange to ask the dealer to refund the difference amount as per the warranty form. Pl do needful within 15 days from the date of this complaint in this mode to avoid me to approach the concerned court. Guruprasad, Advocate

I purchased exide battery for my THUNDERBIRD on Jan 15 2017 from FN MOHANTY and sons located in link road cuttack, odisha.

THEY found the battery to b damaged and told me that I will receive a new battery by Monday. but later on asking them they r saying that battery is not available with the company and they can't do anything.

I have purchased the Car Battery for T car MH 47 C 8038 in August 2017 from Sai Batteries Thakur Village, Kandivali East Mumbai 400101, then it was printed 18 months for T Cars and 24 months for Private Cars on the Warranty Card. This battery failed on 26th February 2018, the Sai Batteries replace it by Jun 2016 Battery which was failed on 25th March 2018. Then I approached to the Company then Mr. Sagar Birajdar got it replaced by new one of February 2018, which again filed to day 22nd Sept. 2018. When I approached on his Mobile then I was told it's only 12 months for T Cars my question is as a customer I will go by Printed Warranty Card which says 18 months for T Cars when your company norms are changing is not my baby. What is printed on warranty card has to be honoured by the company.

The most important thing is the quality and after sales 1st how the battery is getting failed 2 times, 2nd how the Unauthorized Dealer is selling your product bluntly putting Board as Authorized Dealer 3rd how he is retaining the replaced new battery with him and then giving old one in exchange of defective battery (replaced by Company with New One) 4th almost all products have warranty from 1-4 years does it mean the product has has only that much life NO IT IS ALWAY MUCH MORE THAN IT. in this whether EXIDE batteries even after replacement has only life of just 12 months or less fro T Cars 5th and most important how the company can go back on Printed Warranty Commitment of 18 moths for T Cars after sale of the battery. I know it is done after my purchase of the battery in question therefore I switch over to Amaron Batteries for my other two cars to get 24 months warranty.

Therefore I request the company to immediately replace my battery with new one and improve its Quality Control to ensure sale of quality Batteries to customers rather than Defective ones because no one would like to have the Headache for giving Defective one for replacement under warranty.

I had purchased one exide inverter battery worth Rs12800/-with 3years warranty from Ajay Motors Bhubaneswar, Odisha on 09 march 2017. The battery packed-up/shutdown after almost 11/2 years. I took the battery to their shop on 20 Sep 2018. Mr Ratikanta Singh (owner =?) kept the battery and its documents assuring to look into the problem on.About 4 days back he called and said that he is sending the battery . But there is no sign of the battery and Mr Ratikanta and his companion Mr Nayak has remained incommunicado, not responding to repeated phone calls for last 2 days. My experience has been disastrous. I have given my bike avenger for Exide battery(M6B8R285814) replacement in Bajaj Service Center(Khivraj Bajaj Service Center) Gowrasri Arcade, No. 95/3, 4th Main, 5th Cross, Balakrishna Reddy Layout, Near SBI Bank, Doddanekundi, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560037.

My Problem is i have given my bike on 20th October 2018 for battery replacement and its almost 9 days passed service center has not done any replacement they are saying its Exide problem. I am not sure when there is warranty is applicable then why so much delay to replacement. If this is problem from exide then i have to buy battery from other companies why i have to trust and waste my time.

Please try to resolve my issue from last 10 days my bike is in service center for battery replacement.

Warranty replacement about Exide battery.
Hi Team,

I have given my bike glamour for Exide battery (M7H7R7157497H73) replacement in asmi automobiles Service Center(kamtaul, darbhanga, bihar).

My Problem is i have given my bike on 2november2018 for battery replacement and its almost 50 days passed service center has not done any replacement they are saying its Exide problem. I am not sure when there is warranty is applicable then why so much delay to replacement. If this is problem from exide then i have to buy battery from other companies why i have to trust and waste my time.

Please try to resolve my issue from last 50 days my bike is in service center for battery replacement.

This is to inform you that I have purchased a new Boss battery ( battery type FBSO-BOSS 150R, Serial No: A4J8D0180944K83) on dated 3rd Dec'2018,from samrat battery home, milki, malda (west Bengal) .

After purchasing the battery from day 1 my vehicle (bus) isn't starting, I had told about the problem to the owner of samrat battery home - Mr Raju and Mr Sajrul, after that they have charged the battery but again and again the same problem remains. They were saying that our battery is okay, your bus has self problem, after that I have make them aware if my bus has some starting or self problem then it would not be start with another battery of trucks of 150aH or pushing the vehicles every time since last 9 months.

When I have told him to check my battery and send it to the company then they are providing me 80aH battery, my bus needs 150aH battery then how can it starts by using only 80aH battery, so,I have not taken it. When I have told them to replace this boss battery with exide express then Mr Raju & Mr Sajrul is saying that if you replace than you will get Rs3,000/- for this boss battery and rest of the amount you have to paid.

Rs 3,000/- getting for damage or expired batteries but they don't understand it.Is this the way to treat with us, I have got a very bad experience by purchasing boss battery.

Right now I want to replace the above said battery with exide express, because previously I have exide express battery which works well for upto 3 years.

Kindly do the needful.

Hi, I purchased new Exide battery, new purchase in 2021 last month but battery dead in just 10 month. I am submitted nearest dealer replace to new battery but She told me no stock available. i call customer service but they don't answer right information. so I am against of this bad service.
