Hello KTM INDIA. I would like to inform that i bought a KTM DUKE 390 on February 2018. After a 300km ride my engine temperature got high at warning level and indications flashing on the display. Later on the next day i ride about 30km and i got shocked what i see on the display!!! its shows engine temperature high at the warning level flashing red and i found my radiator fan is not working!!.

Now the main irritation start when i went wid my bike to the only BAJAJ-KTM showroom Bilaspur Chhattisgarh. They said its the... FAN problem and they even said parts are not available now you have to wait at least 20 days!!! I daily commute 30km how should this will work for me. The showroom has no parts of KTM high segment bikes!!

Also before my first service of my KTM DUKE 390. I have ECU FAILURE on the display. After service again it shows ECU FAILURE after a WEEK!!! KTM Showroom said they havent undated their diagnosis tool.

These are the complains i have regarding my BIKE service in BILASPUR (C.G).

Today, ontrack at chicane hyderabad I felt awesome and its was good experience on track. We riders need more "trackdays" like for every four months, so we can be in touch with track riding.

I have been a KTM patron for last 3 years and own both your RC and Duke 390. I bought the motorcycles from Delhi, however I shifted to Gurgaon a few years back. I had my motorcycles serviced from KTM service centre in Sector 14 for past few years and everything was going smooth except for a few small hickups.

I got my motorcycles serviced on 1st August 2018 from the Sohna Road service centre (because it's the only one in Gurgaon now). It developed a rattling sound after a few days. I took the Duke back to the service center today, where I was informed that the sound was because of a dry chain. It was surprising since they cleaned and lubricated the chain only 20 days ago. Considering the fact that I have been doing most of the regular maintainence myself it did seem fishy. I went with it to see if the lubrication will get rid of the issue.

I tried to raised the concern and get a clarification on the same matter, however there was no manager to attend to and the staff couldn't give me clear answer. The chain was cleaned subsequently and the bike is now working okay.

While I was waiting, I decided to write a review ( u know, to rant). It was obviously a bad review. The owner of the service centre then barged in the waiting room and asked how I could write a bad review about his service centre. Rather then trying to get the whole story and hear my side of the case, his only question was if I had an appointment. Which I did not, in fairness. All this could have been handled very differently and smoothly if there was anyone to attend and listen to my concerns. He the went ahead and started taked to me like a thug to intimidate me and behaved very unprofessionally. We eventually ended up in a shouting match in the middle of the service bay.

He then asked the manager (who was nowere to be seen previously) to note down the number of the bike and not allow it to be serviced in that centre again.

He then said that I only have one bike whereas he has hundreds of them. Which is technically true, however I didn't bother to explain the flaw in that argument to him.

I then left the service center to go to the KTM showroom on iffco Chowk to raise a complaint regarding the same. Where I was notified that the same guy owns the showroom. I asked for a contact info for any point of contact at KTM to raise a complaint.

There was only one person in the whole showroom, Me Dharmendra Yadav, and he told me that he worked for bajaj finance and no one from KTM was available and he had no information about any such contact number.

Hope to hear a resolution.

P.S. Can you please also tell what shall I do with my motorcycles since I can't get them serviced in Gurgaon anymore ( because of the aforementioned ban).

I brought KTM 390 last December. I'm getting always bad experience with KTM. For the first time the service was so poor and they gave me without break pad. I raised a complaint and it was resold it. Now KTM is keeping stopped in between the ride. I don't know what is the issue with this. Really all is awkward moments.

Hello this is varun malik from goa. I was waiting for KTM duke 125cc to be launch & to own one. Recently i got news that the two main features i.e. TFT screen & ABS will going to skip this on Duke 125cc.

Without this features it will not get sold as required to be. Some might want this features like me. I want your company to take different variants for this version with different price as well. Creating variants like one with TFT screen but no ABS & Vice versa.

I need KTM to do this for upcoming DUKE 125CC as i am waiting for it.

My rc390 was engine cheesed three months before November. after that they took 2 months to cure problem with the engine and due to our financial problem of our family i was unable to receive my bike at time. i took my bike from there three days before today they costs me 26,000 but the sound of my rc wasn't normal. i have asked some experts about they said that you're bike is gonna be cheesed again before 2 weeks or 20 days. i am not satisfied with the service of BARPETA, KTM SERVICE CENTRE (ASSAM) and they took extra parking charge of my bike too.

In complaint of chain sprocket changing and fork cone kit changing. They had broken the fork cone kit and assembled without replacing the damaged parts. I don't know whether they know to do service the bike. I had paid money for two fork cone kit because of their carelessness. They are not responding the customer properly. Am not at all satisfied by your service station.

They are not at all checking any complaints in my bike what I had said. After getting delivery of my bike. I had service again in another workshop. Not at all even tightening the mudguard bolt and nuts. I need to know whether they are a trained mechanic in your service station. Finally worst service.

The bike is not going more than a speed of 151km/h . I even changed air filter, oil filter and what all the KTM people’s asked me to change.

Hi I’m from Gangtok(Sikkim) I own a duke 390.. And out here we are facing lots of issue finding parts.we have a service center but mostly they do is Bajaj bikes. We have to wait hours just to lube our Chains. They are always shorts on parts. And the service that’s sucks. We have to travel 100s of kilometres to finds parts in Siliguri. And wait days just to fit a simple parts.

Compared to other parts of India we are from small town. But the ktm lovers can outrun a big town number. Your bikes are all over the streets. And the riders are brutal. But poor service it’s a problem.

Hello KTM India,

If someone is going for bike clean and chain lube to Sohna road Gurgaon service center, they are being further redirected to the road side local service guy..

For this they charge you 500rs approximately, Money is one thing, however the way they handle the vehicle and job is ridiculous.

PETROL being used to clean the bikes and the Chain !!!, if you ask question where is the cleaner, they just smile and point you to the service center (Go and ask them, we do it this way only).

Some local lube (Not MOTUL or any unknown), then they spray.

If you try to complain the service center people, they become rude, all you end up doing is getting more frustrated.

No wonder KTM sales are getting down and If this is what customer experience is after spending 3 lacs. Bad decision buying this bike, could have bought Dominar instead.

you have lost a prospect KTM big bike buyer, Not only that, i will make sure to circulate this as much as possible in all the biking forums and let people rethink!!! Spend little more, better buy BMW, atleast one would get the After sales services and peace of mind.

Sorry for such a beautiful piece of engineering this Machine is, being handled by unprofessional people.

I have shown bike around 4 times and told its problem to service center bike jerking problem not solved yet. All the time they are keeping bike for a day and not find what is the problem. Very bad service of this service center.
