Took Amc in June 16 for the 5 Water Heater -HSE-SES-025 White installed in my House. On 15 Sep 16 , I requested the CC to ROUTE servicing Team on 19 SEP 16 at abt 1100h or earlier; taking into consideration our pre occupation/ enagements & gave adequate allowance to Company Service Team for scheduling their visit. Inspite, of this and my calls to CC, the Individual who came at 1430 IST was a different person & not Sh RAJEEV as communicated to me by CC. This gentleman, Sh. JITENDER, had NO ID from the company nor was identifiable by his Dress. He only had his tool bag & a Book for Job SHEET. Even the Job Card was not there with him. Very UNPROFESSIONAL on part of Company of AO Smith repute.

NOTWITHSTANDING, he cleaned the tanks satisfactorily of all 5 Gysers and Heating Rod with WATER only and completed the task by 1800h (came at 1430 IST). Seemed ok job as lot of sediments was flushed out. Incidentally, the cleaning material - cloth had to be provided by us. The scope of WORK in AMC was not amplified in the Job completion paper. May I req some Sr functionary in the Chain to look into the anomalies stated and arrange for a AMC in more professional manner. tnx from: Veteran AVM Yugal K Negi; 0120-4902451.

We purchased water heater model number HSE-SDS-025 (25 Ltrs on 23-Nov-2016.). We called customer care thrice still on date to install they told within 24hr. Still no one came to install. I think service is not good about company.

I recently purchased a RO water purifier but am am not getting clean water from it. I want some one to come and check it.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is regarding the service issue of my 25 litre Geyser HSE- SFS-25 purchased on 26.11.2016 from Atul electricals - Yusuf Sarai New Delhi. We lodged a complaint at your customer care on 19.11.2018 of electric shock whenever we start the geyser and it was life threatening also. Your engineer Mr. Mehmood-9958709434 visited on 21.11.2018 and said element is faulty after examination of the element from outside because it was leaked and said I am going to put the request of element for your geyser and it will take 3-4 days. He came after 4 days and we produced the original bill to him and he changed the element but again new element was also faulty unfortunately and he left with a promise to come in 2-3 days with new element.

From 27.11.2018 I am calling your customer care but all of your executives are helpless , they connected me to Mr. Sayyad so many times but nothing happened.He made me talk to Mr. Amrik -9873812899 he also promised me so many times that my engineer will visit for your service but no one has turned up and not even a single courtesy call from these peoples.kindly look at your customer care record I called up every day and calling Mr. Amrik but all are making false promises and now Mr. Amrik is not picking my call.
My family is in such a bad condition every morning we take hot water in utensil to bathroom and it is dangerous any accident can happen and this is life threatening.

Pathetic service by you people.Repair my by today itself and in compensation increase the warranty to 5 years with every year cleaning from inside. I need the explanation of all delays. Hope this letter goes to right concerns.

We have working with national insurance company lst two years. we have given lot of business to company but ur branch office in sikar is not responding properly. we pending some issue with ur branch but not any one response from branch side include branch manager. many time I will sent email, call, visit but till date not any solution and give proper reply.

We had a medical emergency and wanted to install a Storage Water heater ASAP. After promising advertisement and features - I ordered one from Rathna Fan House, web house on 16-Feb-2019. The product was delivered on 18-Feb-2019.

Our Trouble started here. We contacted A.O Smith customer care for installation help. We were promised a visit on Wednesday and after whole day of waiting no one turned up on Wednesday 20-Feb-2019. After multiple follow up, we were promised a new time.

This time service engineer was present and then more troubles. My parents who were elderly and in need of medical support was at home.

We were missing a pair of Angle cork, which we know and ready to buy. As it is a standard fitting it could be purchased from any hardware shop. But the service engineer insisted buying it from him. He carried one. Unfortunately the issue here is the price of the product was twice as much as the market price, and there was no receipt to support price. When we started confronting him about the price, he started using rude statements and started abusing my parents - Elderly and in need of medical help.

The who scene turned out to be like we were at the mercy of the service engineer.
He kept denying installation till we purchase it from him and when we wont buy, he will simply leave.
He also made statements to throw the product away or return it to the shop.
His price was almost 20% of the heater it self, which was ridiculous compared to market price.

What if it, if the angle cork was pre installed ? How will he sell it? Is this how they are instructed to behave?

Please help us with this situation or did we make a mistake of buying it from A.O Smith instead of V-Guard or other brand we trust.

Hello, As i wont to give an inputs for your customer service and a product (water Heater) they are very poor and not cooperative, As on today not receive any solution for a product and service AOSmith, Hence its near by 1 Month old, but not working.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I purchased the AO Smith Z1 UV water purifier from Amazon on 14th August 2021. My installation request query number: 14773246. I faced mainly 2 issues.

Issue no. 1:
First thing first, I found there is a miscommunication between installation team. I received a message that Mr. Sahil Hode will come to install the product, but he never showed up and upon calling, he mentioned that my query number is not in his assigned list. Then I received a phone call from Mr. Radhesham Patel, and he mentioned that he will come for the installation. Mr. Radhesham was polite and prompt in service and he installed the product on 21st August 2021 along with his colleague Mr. Subhas. But his name was never communicated to me by the AO Smith Team through their official communication channel i.e. SMS.

Issue no. 2:
After product installation, I noticed water leakage issue near the drain pipe. The amount of leakage was substantial, hence we had no choice but not to use the purifier. Initially I thought that the leakage is due to the defective cap, which can be replaced easily. So I called Mr. Radhesham to visit again and solve the issue. He visited today i.e. on 26th August 2021, and checked for the root cause. Upon inspection, he found that the issue is not due to the defective cap but the black colored 'Hot Water Tank' has the leakage issue.

I am really surprised how a renowned brand like AO Smith (which must be having stringent Q.A. standards) missed such a critical defect and delivered a defective product to it's customer.

As the product is not used at all, and above defect is a clear cut case of manufacturing defect, I expect complete product replacement from the company.
