I am writing this with very heavy heart. The Volkswagen India Private Limited proved itself a very useless and poor car manufacturers who do not care for their customers. My Polo TDI Car is lying in Indus Motors Jammu since 9th January, 2015 for the simple reason that this so called reputed car manufacturers have become so poor that they are unable to supply the required spares to its dealers. On the very day when I handed over my car for repairs to its Jammu Dealer, I had told them that my daughter's marriage will take place on 7-8th February and in connection with that I will be requiring this vehicle as early as possible. I was told that the vehicle will be delivered to me in 8-10 days. However the date of delivery never came as this so called reputed car manufacturers have gone out of stock of the required spares forcing the local dealer to express helplessness.

Ultimately, I lodged a complain with the Volkswagen India under Complaint No.CCR 19172 on 4th Feb.2015 requesting them to either supply the required spares to its Jammu Dealer immediately and in case of non-delivery of my Car some service vehicle may be provided to me thereby enabling me to use the same during marriage period. Despite lapse of over 24 hours nothing is heard. Perhaps it is the habit of the management of this so called reputed car manufacturers to do justice under the orders of the Consumer Courts.

May I expect some timely action? Will the requires spares be supplies to the Jammu Dealer immediately keeping in mind that Volkswagen is not so popular like Maruti whose spares are available everywhere. The monopoly of the Volkswagen in the matter of spares certainly puts the customers at disadvantage that's why more and more people are switching towards Maruti vehicles.

I own a polo TDI car(PY01BY5490) and it is under warranty (less than 2 years and done only 18000kms). I approached the service dealer Star Cars, Pondicherry with a minor problem of the front seat push back mechanism. service engineer informed me that this part is not covered by warranty so the repair cost to be borne by me. It is highly disappointing for a customer like me who handled his car with utmost care and affection. It is true that if at all any defect in this part it is purely attributed to the manufacturing or material. but I don't believe so because it seems a very minor problem. To say that such an incompetent and irresponsible response of service people may dishonour the repute of your company. I hope volkswagen customer care will look into this and I still believe my choice is the best.

Sorry to say but what was promised at the time of purchase was never fulfilled by the Volkswagon.

I have had the worst experience of my entire life dealing with such people who do not want to sort out the issues but only do the addonns in the troubles of the customers. My vehicle broke down in middle of a over flooded road of vehicles and when the company was informed of the same they denied for the help and next day leaving my job i had to get it toed to the service station all the way from Sonepat to Panipat. And to add on to the shocks they firstly did not give any expected cost of repair and then threw a bomb of 1.5 lacs which is a big enough amount for a working person like me. Although the vehicle has covered 88,000 kms apprx and is under extended warranty. I need to be informed about the areas of coverage of extended warranty if the siezed engine doesnt come under the same.

On the last Sunday I gave my Veneto car for software updation with prior appointment. They made me sit for longer time before accepting the car. I gave the vehicle in good running condition and left the workshop. In the evening there was a call from workshop and informed that vehicle is ready for delivery. When I reached the workshop the person delivering the car informed that vehicle got punctured and that spare tyre was fitted. I was shocked as to how a new Bridgeston tyre was punctured within 15 days but believed the statement of your person. When I gave the tyre for repair it was noticed that the tyre had a two inches cut and cannot be repaired. I informed the matter to the workshop and afterwards spoke to workshop manager Ms Ayesha. She promised to get in touch by next day. So far there is no response and my phone calls are not attended.

I purchase new Ameo car on 29 Jan 17. After 7 months my car got punctured. when i go puncture shop, he says this is not pucture, this is breakage being low quality rubber. you may go to dealer for replacement of tyre. because only 3000 KM tyre run. this will replace in warranty. when i go to dealer i.e Volicity automobile Ambala city, they say their dealership is no more. Pl contact either to customer care or Goodyear company. I shocked. I contact on customer care they replied that engineer of Goodyear will come for tyre inspection. Mr. Ram Lal Engg. of goodyear came and reject the tyre. I wants to know the person who has neither the knowledge of any deficiency which may occurred from outside to tyre. How this type of GADHE AADMI appointed by the company. A lazy man like labourer may say that this is not outside defect it is manufacturer defect.

Hello,

I had recently bought second hand Volkswagen Polo Tdi (2015 model) and had the first servicing done by Ramani Cars mettupalayam road coimbatore - 641030 , on 21st Sep 2017 at the cost of Rs 13500/- at the Coimbatore center. During the service, I was informed that there is an oil leakage at the rear end of the engine & needs replacement of the oil seal. After the procurement of the part, the car was taken to the showroom on 25th Nov 2017. I was charged Rs.15000/- this time & was told that the issue is taken care of. The car was returned to me on 1st of Dec.

Currently, I notice that the leakage still persists. I would want a quick fix for this issue as it has already cost me the money & time.

Looking forward for your reply. I would like to sort this issue amicably rather than taking it forward.
Please find the receipts of the bills attached.

Thank you,

Dear VW India Team,

I purchased a brand new Polo GT TSI on 21 September 2017. The car has run approximately 1350 kms so far. On 1 December, Thursday we took the car out for a ride from Mysore to Bavali, Kerala. After driving about 50-55kms, we started experiencing violent jerks when the car tried to upshift from D4-D5, after a few more kms, it started happening in th lower shifts as well. We had fortunately reached the destination by then and thought that it would not be best to drive the car anymore that day. The next day when I restarted the car, it was all very smooth and we took the car out. But then again, after 40 kms, the jerks started. This time they were a lot more frequent and very violent. I promptly called up KPR cars and spoke to Mr Lohith from the CR and he suggested that I should bring the car once I returned. We again let the car cool down and restarted after a few hours- the jerks were gone. But having had a terrible experience that morning, we decided to cut short the holiday and drive straight to Mysore on the morning of 3rd December. The car remained happy for 40kms and then it jerked more and more violently. Also, the car would automatically downshift once D7 was reached - for no apparent reason. No matter how much I tried, the car would not accelerate once it downshifted on a speed cutter.

There was a heavy rattling sound on the left side.

Thanks to our stars that we reached Mysore safely- particularly considering that we put away in the forest with no cellular network and many Elephants around.

We took the car to the local dealer- KPR cars Pvt Ltd. The local technician and the service head himself took the car for a test drive and now the car hopped like a frog with violent jerks every second. The engine warning light was also on and The traction control light was on as well.

Ever since that day, the car is in the Service center and everyone is diagnosing what is wrong with the car. It has been five days and there is no definite diagnosis from their side.

I bought this car believing your commercial tagline- "Not any car- it is Polo GT, Respect ". I feel very cheated as that "any other car" wouldn't have developed a defect this soon.I wish I had purchased a Nano instead. It would move, if not gallop. I believe that a defective car has been sold to me. The Service center has failed to give me any answer yet.

I request you to kindly look into the matter and resolve it at your earliest. A defective car is not acceptable by any means.

Kind Regards, Hemamalini

Dear Sir/Mam,

I am writing this email second time for the same concern that I made a booking for Ameo Comfortline Limited edition on 25.11.2017 at 06.05 pm at MG Road, Gurgaon showroom, paid INR 11,000/- as booking amount.

Mr. Bhawesh Misra is the sales excutive who i was in touch with. On 09.12.2017 i requested him to cancel my booking and process the refund amount.

Surprisingly, i was told that INR 5,000/- shall be deducted as cancellation charges. Though i have asked him to share the written policy of the company which i have not received from him yet.

This is really annoying when you get to hear such things from a person who is working for such a renowned brand. Since i know there are no cancellation charges so it was really frustrating for me.

And moreover, he used such a threatening tone to a female customer saying that "Mam, i have put efforts for the loan approval, got the stamp paper also and now you want to cancel the booking"...
"Soch lo aap ek baar kyu ki we will deduct INR 5,000/- as cancellation charges. Ab aap soch k bata do ki apko kya karna hai".

This was the exact language used by him.

I do not understand is this the pressure of achieving sales target or something else. But whatever it is, how can he threatens the customer??

I am looking forward an early response and action from your end as this can stop me taking any legal action against him for threatening as well as giving wrong information about the company policy.

Thanks & Regards,

Coming to the issue directly !
Not happy with the service Elite Motors (Hosur Road) provide , Service advisers (ANIL KUMAR) are rough and not approachable, anything you ask - you dnt have a definite answer and nor they get back later with an update.

I have given my car on 6/Jan for 15K service and a small dent work on door (Which needs to be claimed through insurance). The Handover date committed by Anil Kumar was 15/Jan , I did tried his number this week to get an update (usually other places they call and keep us posted on updates), today finally he picked the call today and told he cant talk as he is in a training.

I called Krishna who is his colleague and updated on the issue, he was suppose to call back but no revert still !!

I REALLY DOUBT WEATHER ELITE MOTORS IS CERTIFIED DEALER OF VOLKSWAGEN ! THIS IS NOT HOW VOLKSWAGEN WORKS AND I PERSONALLY KNOW SOME LEADS IN TOP !

I, Jatin Kapoor, bought the New polo Pace from Volkswagen Delhi West, Moti Nagar New Delhi on 30th April 2018. Since then I am facing issues in the car.

1. It was 85 kms already driven before it handed over to me, I noticed when I reached home, when I asked the sales officer he said he was not sure he needs to check how it can be possible.
2. At the time of delivery of car, I noticed there is noise coming from engine, I immediately raised it then and there itself, but they including mechanic said it comes in every car.
3. I called sales officer after 2-3 days (2nd/3rd May) that noise is coming very regularly from engine plus when I drive the car around 40-50 kms at a stretch I felt car is vibrating very badly, he said he will sent driver tomorrow morning to pick up the car, I intentionally waited for 2 days to see whether he will be sending on his own (just to check after sales services) or I need to follow up again in this too. But unfortunately I called him, he said he will send someone tomorrow morning.

I myself visited service centre on 9th May 2018 and showed them what the problem is and they acknowledged yes there is a problem. I got a call from service advisor that they have fix the issue, you can come and pick up your car by next day, we have done all the test and also taken test drive and all. BUT when I reached the service centre yesterday i.e. 12-May-2018, I noticed problem is still the same. Initially mechanic told me that it comes in every car, when I said can you show me the same problem in any other car, he was quite. Then they called someone else from technical department, he also heard the noise coming from engine and he said we need to send an email to technical head, it will be his choice what needs to be done and they said to me they will update me by tomorrow.

Since there was no call from Service advisor, I called to check the status, he said they need to change the part of it, and that part is not available we need to order the part and when it will come, only then they can fix it.

Service after sales is very very poor, I have seen this kind of service in my whole life, specially when it is hardly 10 days old Car. Employees (including sales officer, service advisor and mechanic) should be more responsible) they are just giving excuses since beginning like as I written above (1.at the time of delivery, I noticed the noise, they just ignored it by saying it is regular in every car, 2. When I came to pick the car after fixing the issue - Mechanic words are it comes in every car, 3. Even after telling to Sales officer about the issues, he didn’t bother to even call me to discuss about the issues, his concerns was over after he sold the car, otherwise I was getting call when I was planning to buy a car).

Sales office – Dheeraj - +91-85870-46846
Service Advisor – Bhaskar - +91-95824-39762

I don’t want to take this Car now, all I want is my money back after seeing how they misguide the customers it was just my first experience and it turned to be like this. Not sure what they will be going to do it in future. Seriously I DON’T TRUST Volkswagen and its employees.

Dear team VW,

Greetings!!!!!!!!!

Its very disappointing for me to have VW Ameo 1.2Ltr Petrol i purchased on 12th November 2017 at UDAIPUR .... reason its almost 9 months and i am having mileage problem my car is giving me mileage of 11.5 to 11.80 km in city, which is not at acceptable. For which VW have no explanation that why its to less . VW team give me very foolish answer, sir please drive car on highways you will get good mileage.

FYI.. i have purchased a car to drive in city and not for highways and its general people in India drove the car in city only??

I am sorry to write but i can give maximum 07 days to VW team to solve my problem else i have no other option's left going for legal formality that i was ditched by VW team claiming mileage of 18 km per liter.

Hope all you find the above in order.

My vehicle no TN 59 BH 4447 VENTO left for service in vw Chennai mount road for coolant oil leakage was serviced two week back. But the same complaint is repeated now, this is the third time I am facing this problem. I'm really dissatisfied with the service. In my blood related family members there are nearly 5 vw cars which were recommended by me but I'm really sorry for that, I have spent a lot for this complaint & service.

Vento car has ignition problem which i have been facing. Movement of key is hard and not user friendly. I have never heard such problem in another car such as of Maruti, Hundai etc. For repairing car was sent to Volkswagen workshop. It was repaired four months back by charging 10000/- or so again after 4 months same problem developed which was repaired four months back. Again Volkswagen claim another 10000/- or so. Even i agreed to pay second time but part is not available with them and my car is held up for more than 15 days in garage. No commitment from Volkswagen when i will get back car duly repaired. I have taken a resolution not to buy Volkswagen car in future as one can't expect ignition problem, secondly even after repairs car is again giving same trouble. Surprisingly parts is not available for more than 15 days and one cant use the car for more than 15 days. If parts are not available why Volkswagen sell their car? fed up with Volkswagen and their customer care services are useless.

10 months before i brought VM Ameo after and i rarely use the car. Not reached 2000km after 10 months. One of tyre got puncher because of piece of nile. So i asked VW service center to fix the puncher. New tyre and not even reached 2000km but service center asked me to replace the tyre as stated below. Here I am not raising question about the quality.

I trusted that VW ever and never compromise with quality and car with German Engine… Now i felt whether i was wrong about it. Because whether tyre is not worth to get hit with small piece of nail, such a quality tyre provided by VW.

"May VM got cores of customer and nothing make sense if VW may not worry to fix my issue but what if we loose the trust in VW and that may make sense right".

Subject: Harassment by Volkswagen Chandigarh

It is to your kind concern that i sent my vento  diesel car for some coolant leak issue to the Volkswagen agency in industrial area phase 1 Chandigarh. As per the directions of the company the complete coolant was changed and some more parts were replaced. But after they delivered me the car, the same problem was still there. I again visited the agency even then they weren't able to rectify so. I am facing harassment due to the negligence of the staff of the agency. Even after spending so much the problem stands the same. I am facing harassment due to the negligence of the staff. Immediate resolution is expected or i will have to knock the doors of the respected Consumer Court of India for justice.

We have given our vehicle Volkswagen vento at. On dated 0/11/2018 after numerous call and message received from your company though service was not due as per parameter. We are highly dis satisfied with the service . Our main observations are as follows -
1. It took almost 2 hr to receive the vehicle at your service center.
2. At the service station while delivering the vehicle we have not been informed about the payment or work to be done in the service.
3. We are also not satisfied with the service provided though we have a payment of rs 11783/- for the service.

I have purchased Volkswagen POLO (Petrol) in December 2015 from Delhi. The Engine of the car used to make a persistent noise right from the beginning of purchase. The same was noted to the dealer of the car but the dealer waived it off by saying that German Cars do make a noise.

At the time of first service of the car and at the time of second service of the car it was reported to the Service provider person that there is an persistent and hoarse noise in the engine of the car. At both the times they said that the noise is comman in every Volkswagen car.

After a period of time the engine light blinked at the dashboard of the car. The car was taken at the service centre. They did a cleaning of the engine and the engine light was linked off. At this point of time as well it was very well noted to the service centre persons that the car is making certain noise which was again ignored by the service person.

At the third service of the car it was brought to our notice that there is some fault with the engine of the car which creates a noise in the car. For which we have to pay a certain amount to get it replaced. For which we asked the service person that the same should be covered under the warranty as engine is covered under warranty which was very violently refused by the service person that we have to pay the amount otherwise we are responsible for the faults in the engine in the future.

We have adhered with the service schedule of the car as per the Volswagen norms and we had taken the extended warranty of the vehicle at the time of purchase. It is very sad to note that after repeatedly requesting the company and noting them that the engine is making an indelible sound the same was ignored by the service person. Please help us to get the same done under warranty.

Bought the car in October 2015. The car's performance deteriorated after the recall as we have no clue what they have done. Again returned but no improvement since then. The service centres are hopeless and do not carry out a proper check on the actual condition. You mention a problem beforehand, they make sure that the part is replaced that burn your pockets trying to settle bills with them. While discounts are given to woo new buyers ,the same is ignored while ending up with whopping replacement spare costs.

Bottom line is I have decided to sell this car once it is out of the service centre, and would advise anyone against opting to buy one. Infact I have also received a similar advice as the carelessness and apathy of the service centres cannot be just ignored.

VW Ameo which is only run 22000 km, no its abs sensors are complaint. Are you using worst quality products in your vehicle?? I am so much disappointed. plz reply on email.
