My experience with RELIANCE
This is a very harmful, and painful experience with reliance. Agent told us after 6 yrs you get double benefit. I give10,000/ consecutively 3 yrs BUT after 6 yrs they cash back 27445/ only.
No help in changing address
My reliance life policy no is 51779079 is continued and i just want to change my address of communication. I have no idea how to proceed doing it, the customer care or the agent are not reachable. Regarding deduction of TDS on 1st pay out of money back plan
On recommendation of one of your most stupid, notorious and a cheater, I should say, agent/broker Mr. Aslam Khan, with a never answered Mobile No. 0-9871113900, who never told about the applicability of TDS on yearly Pay outs of Survival Benefits under the Child Care Plan with Money Back features, that I had from him in 2012. My Policy No. - 50523423, client ID - 84742224. Life Assured that of my son, Mr. Gaurav Ahuja and the Proposer/Policy holder being myself that is Ramesh Chandra Ahuja.
On receipt of first Pay out in Nov. 2015, I simply deposited the cheque in my savings account, without going into the details and/or any deductions etc. It was only while filing my IT Return for the F. Y. 2015-16 that there was a credit of TDS with the Govt. from Reliance Life Insurance, due to which I had to take into account the entire Pay Out of Money Back from Reliance Life Insurance and accordingly pay a heavy amount of self assessment tax due to then falling under 20% of Income tax bracket.
I fail to understand that why a Co. of repute recruits such agents/brokers who try to snatch max business after keeping their clients in dark while booking a policy, and subsequently disappearing from the scene altogether. It is the client who faces the music later on and/or the Co. who loses the credibility in the eyes of customers. There being no mention of any such applicability of tax on regular/yearly final pay outs after a lock in period of 3 years, nor there being any notification/intimation from the Insurance Co.
I demand immediate refund of the tax deducted as TDS, with an appropriate certificate/clarification so that a revised IT Return may be filed for the refund of the same from the Govt., failing which I may be constrained to approach the Insurance Ombudsman for the needful.

I want to pay my premium which was due in July. i have contacted customer care and they told me they will send the person and collect the amount from address provided. but no one has come yet.
Also when i contacted the branch near my office they are also not picking phones. branch name - Jaisingh business center, andheri east, mumbai-400099.
If the phone number of above said branch is not working then pls update the new number on website as we are facing trouble because of this.

On 15.2.17 I got call from, narela Delhi by Vijay Bhardwaj mob. no.78736033689. He said I have taken a policy\[pol.no.51986572 or 151986572], paid 12,500, which is now valued at 62463. I did not respond to as I thought it as fake call after that I got 4-5 calls from same no. I dont know what is the truth. Please help me in this regard and tell what to do? Is this policy is in my name or in name of my family member. I don't how he got my name and my mobile. no. today he said he is LOKPAL. May be is right and may this money belongs to me. Now I am 77 years and my my memory not as good as it should. Please help in this regard at your earliest possible.

Cancellation of policies number 52082006 and 52082214
This is to bring to your kind notice that I had submitted letter dated 21.03.2017 addressed to Mr Harideep Salwan,Senior Regional Manager at your MG road Bangalore personally on 28.03.2017 and also mailed him on his personal mail on 21.03 2017. As per the discussion held with him I had mentioned in detail the circumstance in which I was made to buy the above 2 policies and how I was made to pay the premiums. Since there was no response from him even after sending mails to him,I visited your MG road office on 21.06 2017. There I was told that Mr Hardeep has already left the office 2 months back and his place has been taken over by Mr Sudeep. Since Mr Sudeep was not available in the office on that day, the staff at the counter gave me his phone number 30585896 and also took a copy of my letter dated 21.03.2017 to be handed over to Mr Sudeep. Today at 11.30 AM I tried to contact him over phone but there was no response from his end.
In this regard I request you to look into the matter at the earliest.
