Dear officer
I would like to inform you that i had purchased on Woodland Shoe on May 06, 2017 from your retail show room available in World Square Mall Ghaziabad AERO CLUB and as per following detail:

World Square Mall , Shop No 12 , Ground Floor ,Mohan Nagar ,Ghaziabad
Purchase Invoice No - D086CSH171800280
Date of Purchase May 06,2017
Product Code No - TEMPIFWRMEN SHOE GF 1702115 BLACK 40
(Attached photo copy of purchase invoice & credit card payment detail)

Problem in Shoe :- Hole appears on front on the shoe . This is increasing day by day & giving wrong impact during wearing the shoe.

Now need your support to replace this with new one immediately . I know that my purchase has already expired 3 months of warranty period but during the time of purchase informed us about six months of warranty form date of purchase. Also inform you that i have purchased first time of Woodland Shoe after my friend recommendation, but now up to you to give smile on my face or giving disappointment on my face & give a chance to recommend your product to other as my friend done.

So kindly look into this matter & arrange to replace my problematic shoe immediately free of cost. Also my shoe is lying in woodland showroom from 10 sep 2017 but no result .

Regards,
Rajiv Kumar

Hii Woodland Team, Is it complacency or overconfidence or perhaps I should call it arrogance…?  As you have a big market share so now you don’t listen to your even old and loyal customers anymore.

Unfortunately, our family is one of those who have been putting on your shoes for decades. But your salespeople are, I think (as they are behaving), have crossed all marks of their targets that they give a damn to future sales and thus ignoring after-sales problems of the customers!. Not only this, they are not even bothered to call you back and to inform you about the verdict....! On 22nd July, 2019 we bought an article (Sales Invoice 201903N031C01627) from your outlet at Bhupindra Road, Patiala, Punjab costing Rs 1996 after discount etc. After a few days, just wearing the article three times all it's leather thing came apart and it took the ugly shape of some ten years old shoe.  When we got some free time we contacted the showroom and we were told that this is our quite genuine problem as the product is defective and under warranty so we submitted the article on 6th September 2019 (Repair Slip No. 108).  After three weeks we called telephonically and were told to wait, the case is in progress and we will inform you whenever there is some information.

After that, we forgot and just a few days back when it occurred to my mind and I inquired, I was told in a very cold and standoffish attitude that you can come and take Rs 1500! I was told the product can't be replaced...and Rs. 496 are being deducted as you have used the product!!!  Further, a final suggestion was given - Talk to Customer care (as if we don't care!).And there was rather no answer when I complained that why I was not informed about this earlier??? Why is it that now when I am calling myself you are telling me this?? Wouldnt you agree with me that the representatives of a so big MNC like Woodland should have been careful in denying my so-huge claim of refund or replacement???

Should I assume that I am paying a rent of Rs 496 for using a woodland shoe for three times??? Should I assume that normally if a 'The Woodland Product' gets damaged after using three times - it does not ring a bell to woodland team???Rather they are worried to save Rs 496 as a profit from the damaged product also...?   I hear there is a recession in the market...Is this Woodlands' Strategy to combat recession and to increase revenues???

Dear Woodland Team I am taking this much time and pain in writing to you only to ask one simple question (Rs 496 loss I can afford and the shoes I can in future buy from any brands as there are a large number of players in the market!) - Do you think this way you can be the market leader in terms of not only sales but customer satisfaction also???

With best regards,
Dr Dhiraj Sharma
