I went to Dubai with my wife and had bitter experience of my trip which is contrary to my good experience I had with you in the previous two occasions. Based on my experience of my two trips I took this trip to Dubai. After this trip I decided not to take anymore trips with you. This is the same experience eby other few members of the trip. I had visited Europe from 22.07.2016 for a week. v had very pathetic experience with hotels n airline(oman airways). Also the Ahmedabad office person Mr kintan Shah handed over wrong tickets of return journey plus never apologised for the same. when v brought this thing to their notice they changed our tickets without saying sorry. And now no one from Ahmedabad office replies to our mails. is this way they treat the customers!? Of anybody listening gv feedback to Ahmedabad office. i will write my experience everytime everywhere and nvr travel with cox n kings. Atleast they cud hv said sorry. v had financial loss coz of wrong tickets.

I was issued Multi currency card on 05.07.2016 by Cox and Kings Chetpet branch Chennai.

I have completed my trip and have unutilised EURO and Pound. My 889 Euro and 200 GBP is pending with them for last 2 days and they are asking one more day to convert it to INR. I have spoken the following people at Chetpet Branch - Karthika, Priya, Rajkumar, Rakesh but totally dissatisfied bcoz either they are not attending the calls or shifting call to someone else. My sincere advise, if you are traveling abroad, do not take multi currency card from Cox and Kings. They do not have system to give back your unused money in Indian Rupees even after 2 days of you making request for the same.

This is too inform u that I traveled thru ur company in 15 Dec. I paid our visa cost and other cost to ur company thru but in Delhi ur agent said that ur company has shortage of fund. so I paid cash there and he inform that u will get refund and this also informed by ur agent In moradabad mr Sanjeet Gupta but it 45 days now I didn't get the amount, now sanjeet kumar gupta in rudrapur

We had a final deal with Ajay Shekawat Vaishali nagar Jaipur branch of Cox and king about the Europe trip. At the time of visa processing they charged 27700 for fast rack which was not known to us. We refused bcoz Mr Shekhawat had not informed us about this extra charges, we told him to cancel the trip but he refused to cancel. We were compelled to pay twenty seven thousand seven hundred extra as we have made advance payment. At the time of booking our trip was fixed inclusive all visa charges. he cheated us we want the said amount return from Cox and king. We discussed the matter with your representatives Mr Anil Singh of Kolkata when we went there for visa, he also said visa charges are not customer liability.

My friends and I had booked a tour for Scandanavia in March 2017, the booking was attended by Ms. Jyoti shetty, she had taken our enquiry and processed our tickets and we made payment of Rs. 12,05,154 on April 07, 2017. The total payment was made. Then this package was transferred to Mr. Tejpratap Vishwakarma and he told us to send our documents to the Chennai office for visa processing. I had sent it through the Cochin Office on April 22, 2017, and my friend sent it on April 24, 2017. Our travel date is on May 21, 2017 and Tejpratap calls us on May 8, 2017 saying that we have to change our travel date as the visa processing is pending. What is this? This is horrible news...what are we supposed to do ? The company's operators are useless, they never attend the calls, never in their seats... the company should do something as soon as possible about the visa.

I had availed the cox and kings 10 days/11 nights American Sojourn tour from 22nd August to 1st September 2017. I had family of three travelling for which we had paid the full tour cost via cheque on 7th August but my daughter US Visa was not granted. After coming back from tour I had contacted the local tour agent for the cash back of my daughters tour cost. Except the visa cost while tour cost is supposed to be returned back. But why so much delay in returning the tour amount? I had to make calls to one official then another then again giving tentative dates. Whats going on? We first contacted the cox and kings tour thinking it's a reputed travel agency but so far it is becoming difficult to rate you as such.

Some International Holidays Packages ex India carry a lucrative Free Domestic Holiday for two nights.
It has been experienced that while the holiday package includes stay in standard hotels but while giving you a stay in free domestic holiday the standard is lowered to such an extent that one would not like to avail it. To quote an incident of availing the free domestic holiday in Bhopal, the offer for stay in hotel was given as Hotel Sangat Plaza, MP Nagar Zone 1, Bhopal situated in the interior congested streets with small rooms with a two star rating. Whereas when the company books a paid holiday package in which Bhopal stay is involved the company books you in Hotel Palash Residency a three star Hotel.

Cox and King India – Mumbai office is biggest Cheater – Will jack up prices after initial booking
Be aware of Cox and king before booking any tour. Please be ready to absorb any in-between hefty increase of the tour cost at any point of time after initial payment!!

I have booked 6 days Dubai Extravaganza package for 3 adults @ 2.17 Lakh Rs and made initial payment of 60000 Rs on 19th February 2018. To my utter shock, just after receiving initial payment, Cox and King has immediately sent me mail on 22nd February, 2018 that prices has increased by 75,000 Rs (An increase of around 35% of tour cost).

When I have contacted Cox and King representative Ms Sania Khan and Ms Nelufer Momin, they have informed that this is management decision and they can’t do anything on the same. I was completely shattered that how one can increase cost by 35% after accepting booking amount and signing contract. Above all Cox & King has even not refunded my money for 1 week even after several follow-ups and as a result I could not book the tour anywhere else.

I was helpless & shocked by such attitude of Cox & King. By choosing Cox & King as my tour operator, I have jeopardized my holiday plans. I still wonder how Cox and king can behave in such a bad manner and increase cost in such a hefty manner and still able to manage to get best travel company awards??

This is regarding the negligence of your customer service. I was having the conversation with Arif.ahmad @coxandkings.com extension no 5163 regarding the leh Ladakh package for the last 10-15 days. He offered me dpd and I was getting the package in 67,746 rupees for a couple, 7 nights 8 days , on Friday I was supposed to do the payment but before that I told Arif to confirm me the hotel and he was supposed to call me back. I didn't get any call back, no reply on my mail, on Sunday that is 25th March I called him 5 times but didn't get a single call back, I told to connect me with the higher authority but I was told that no one is available.

Today I again I called at your customer care number than Ajay Gupta had a word me and he told me that now he can't give me dpd offer which was disgusting because the delay was from your side. No one sorted out the matter. Please enquire about the matter and expect you to sort out the things as soon as possible.

Hi,

This is regarding our recent trip to Kashmir from 4-10 th june 2018.We faced a lot of issues with our tour manager and infact Gulmarg which was a day trip was not covered properly. We felt really bad and cheated after the trip. I would like the higher authorities to look into the matter and sought out the problems so that other tourists do not face the same problem. I would also like the authorities to make arrangements of our refunds for the sites not covered.

I recently tried Cox & Kings in Goa for a tour pack to Egypt. (I'm an NRI, so my travel companion in Goa coordinated with them) At the start, the branch staff's response was good & they verbally provided most of the info we needed. However, when he asked them to send it via email --- for the record --- the 'good' abruptly ended. No email ever came, and when my friend called them they claimed it had been sent already & that they'd ask their IT Department to check why it wasn't going. I too sent them an email asking that they send the info to my email address to rule out the destination address as a point-of-failure. No response came...

As I was explaining to my friend, this might very well have been a case of the staff seeing us as a 'low potential' business opportunity, hence the very poor support. (Either that or the staff of the IT Department has been underpaid or was then on strike)

The quality of Customer Support has a significant impact on business in the long run --- so I hope Cox & Kings improves theirs.

Dear Team,

My name is Sagar Gandhi from Ahmednagar. I have been a victim of your DD tour of Singapore and Malaysia from 11th June-17th June. Being a first experience with you proved to be a worst experience. I have never tried with other tour companies except Veena/Kesari. Now I came to know why they have been so popular in terms of everything.

I won’t eat up much of your time and will brief you only. We landed from Kualalampur to Singapore on 12th June. On airport, your so-called tour guide was not available hence we ran pillar to post to contact the concerned person whose number was not reachable. Finally I approached to Thomas Cook person who was waiting for their passenger and to his greatness he could help us out. We were totally 19 people stuck up over there. This was just a beginning of the going-to-be bad experience of CnK. As we called me up to our surprise we were told to come to hotel by a taxi.

Finally we could “convince” that fellow that we have paid for it and hence need to be taken care of properly. As our woes were never ending, so post reaching your so-called hotel we had still not been contacted from any of your person/s. We should have been contacted at least to know either we were alive or dead. The dinner was to be arranged from your end hence we literally combed the area of hotel surrounding to find out the hotel. One more thing!. The hotel name was not mentioned in the itinerary nor was it informed to us each of us called up our respective CnK office to get the same. So, after locating the hotel which was one of the worst hotels of the city, we decided to have our dinner somewhere else by paying out from our own pocket. Since this was not enough, so we had still not been contacted from CnK. Meanwhile I could establish contact with your Regional Manager, Charulata (8421554355). Being into sales, she skillfully handled our woes by only apologizing but not arranging the things or fixing it up.

Let me repeat no one from CnK had still contacted us, meanwhile. Later on while being on tour we had been charged tremendously for optional sightseeing. We came to know about the charges post paying to your guides. Your guide at Malaysia was the horrible one with extreme bias nature. He had good knowledge of how to deliver a speech but was worst at helping us out or directing us as what is to be seen and what not!
Having knowledge of Tamil language he was more inclined towards one of our Tamil group. May be there was some deal between them, which it not to be discussed out here. We paid unnecessary charges for optional sightseeing to your guides.

In a nutshell it was horrible experience overall. May be it was our mistake that we compared your company with Veena/Kesari. Your service is one of the foulest with shoddier involvement from you. I have been writing this mail on every body’s behalf who were part of our group and have been victims of your so-called 140 yrs.+ company. I have marked them in cc. You may figure it out from our feedback forms. Still so many things are untold…but we can’t put across everything in detail.

I am gonna put this up on social networking sites to help others from not falling prey to your so-called old tourist company.

BIG CHEATS
Cox & Kings is the BIGGEST FRAUD Company in India, they commit lot of things to lure the customer and never full fill their commitments. Recently, I have visited Andaman on Jan.19 to Jan 24, 2019. It was a miserable experience. We have wasted our money and time. Cox & Kings have not taken us to the North Bay Island, Ross Island in Port Blair and Kalapathar Beach at Havelock in spite of their commitment. The Hotel rooms are too small (8’x9’) without window. It is like an AC Jail room. I request you all not to take any package from Cox & Kings, it is better to rely on local Travel Agencies, at least they do listen to you. I am ready to share all details with you.
